Interclima 2024 Promotes Sustainable & Decarbonized HVAC&R Solutions
Interclima was held at the prestigious Porte de Versailles venue in Paris on September 30 to October 3, 2024. It is a leading
trade show focusing on climate control and energy efficiency in construction and buildings. It brings together professionals
from various sectors to explore innovative, eco-responsible solutions for comfort and energy efficiency.
Interclima was held in conjunction with IdéoBain, Batimat, and Équipbaie-Métalexpo exhibitions which focus on the bathroom, building, and joinery and metalworking sectors respectively, and the four events attracted 2,022 exhibitors, up 15% compared with the 2022 edition, of which 383 exhibited at Interclima, and 135,000 visitors. Besides exhibits, the event featured live conferences, workshops, and thematic tours to promote sustainable practices and decarbonization in the building industry. The overarching themes of the live conferences staged during Interclima were: Adapting to a Changing World; Innovating to Change the World; Responding to Global Challenges with Local Solutions; and Nurturing Common Values. Refrigerants and the F-gas Regulation were hot topics. The 2024 edition was a resounding success, and a clear trend emerged: many European and Asian manufacturers exhibited monobloc air-to-water (ATW) heat pump models adopting propane (R290) refrigerant.
